Acquired brain injury can affect anyone at any time. People with acquired brain injury are some of the most disadvantaged in society - because their disability often has no outwardly visible signs, they constantly face misunderstanding and prejudice. It is vital that all political parties are aware of the challenges faced by people with brain injury, and take steps to improve quality of life for survivors and their families.
In the run up to the Scottish Parliament elections, we are calling on all political parties to support this important manifesto and improve the lives of the thousands of people in Scotland affected by brain injury.
